8 boats have raced in the last 5 years. See which ones
Overview
Basically a surfboard with a shallow cockpit for feet and a very tall sail, these boats go like the wind (faster even!) Due to its hull shape and light weight, the Laser can plane going downwind in nearly any wind condition.

Definitely for the athletic and nimble, lasers can capsize easily into the frigid, and one must clamber back up and step on the centerboard to right them. Due to the athleticism required to sail one, Lasers and their smaller cousins, the Laser Radial, are part of the Olympic fleet.

Although once a large fleet of Lasers graced the Casino’s races, in recent days they had nearly disappeared from the island. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic which eliminated double handed sailing for a year, numerous households acquired Lasers, leading to a rejuvenation of the Casino fleet.
